I am not sure I can. I am going to love my kids to death and never want to let them go. Maybe my husband can do it. |

Darrelle its a hell of alot more difficult for a mother who has had that child live inside her for 9 months and deliver that child to grant him his welcomed death than it is for anybody. Anything other than granting that wish is downright fucked up and selfish!Dont think of the pain you will go through, but of the pain they are enduring. |

There was a story over here, I think the little girls name is Charlotte Wyatt if you want to google it up. The parents went to Court against the medical professionals who wanted to not have to ressusitate the child if her heart stopped (I think it had stopped before.) She has been ill since birth with multiple things wrong with her including being deaf and blind, she was in constant pain according the medical people who looked after her, but the parents (selfishly I thought) didn't want to accept this and let her go. Now the child is still seriously ill and probably always will be, but lately it looks like she has improved and could be cared for at home. Except the parents have now divorced, the father lives alone and couldn't give her the care and attention she needs as he has to work, and the mother has a new family and again for some reason she can't look now look after her. So the child is now out of hospital with a foster family. Maybe the family were right to fight for her, though personally I'm sure I wouldn't want my child to go on suffering for the small moments of happpiness she may have been getting. If the body is being kept alive artificially and at great expense how is that God's will? Ironically in this case the parent's were right, she has improved, thought what quality of life she'll have now is anyone's guess. |

For Darrelle, I know it would be harder to let them go, it's not something anyone would do lightly, but sometimes that decision is the right one although it goes against what we are taught is right. We are taught where there is life there is hope, maybe you think a miracle could happen, as parents you would certainly want that, I know I would. Some truths are hard to accept and harder to carry though. |

Im for quality of life. who really in thier right mind would choose to be incapable of themselves and be dependent 24/7? Thats not a life, its a burden! If ever I become a vegetable, let me die, please. I already told my sisters and my guy"pull the plug" please. |

I agree with you Jules. If I am in a vegetable state let me die. I seek the paradise beyond. |

But Darrelle, you wouldnt grant your own child that luxury? you would keep him alive in a vegetative state, just so his "soul wouldnt fly away"? thats pretty cruel, yo |

I am VERY pro-euthanasia. I think there should be little "euthanasia boxes" on streets where you end your life quickly and clean after filling your information on a card. There are plenty of people here that want to live forever, we do not actually need people who are bored with life. No need to suffer from sickness or life in general if you do not want to. We allow animals the basic right for a painfree death, why not humans? |
